TRADING GRID
Along with Trading Grid® Ultra, GXS is introducing a new way to define and measure uptime in B2B. We call it "True Availability."
Many mainframe-based VANs are taken offline for periods of 4, 8 or even 12 hours a week to perform "scheduled maintenance." These service interruptions impact customers, but they are not counted in the vendor's reported downtime or even customer SLAs.
GXS Trading Grid Ultra was designed not only for reliability, but for serviceability as well. In many cases, GXS can maintain, repair and even upgrade equipment without scheduling maintenance windows. That translates into less downtime for you.
In 2008 GXS will be introducing a new web-based portal to report on "true availability." This new portal, pulse.gxs.com will allow you to see for yourself the benefits of Ultra.
