GXS to Host Third Annual SAP Customer Advisory Board Meeting

National Harbor, MDOctober 1, 2012 — GXS ,a leading provider of B2B integration services, today announced it will hold the third annual meeting of its SAP Customer Advisory Board (CAB) on October 1, 2012 at the company’s  annual Customer Forum. The CAB meets once a year to discuss best practices for connectivity and integration for SAP and B2B integration.

Members of the GXS team will be speaking on topics including trends in SAP integration for B2B.   Discussion topics will include connectivity via SAP’s PI and ALE technologies; canonical mapping; status messaging and testing methodologies.  The GXS team will also take the opportunity to answer questions relating to GXS’s future plans for integrating with SAP-related environments and solicit input from customers for its product roadmap. 

SAP integration is a key requirement for many B2B integration platforms. A GXS sponsored research study highlighted that on average 34% of information entered into an ERP system comes from outside the enterprise.  Consisting of some of GXS’s largest Managed Services customers, the GXS SAP CAB members meet once a year to discuss ways to improve SAP and B2B connectivity.
