The Global Upstream Supply Initiative, (GUSI) has developed a process model and supporting XML message standards for manufacturers of consumer product goods and suppliers of packaging ingredients and raw materials. The model and message standards aim to provide tighter integration of supply chain transactions between B2B partners, without the need for costly and time-consuming IT integration projects. GUSI is being implemented across multiple countries worldwide by companies such as; Unilever, Smurfit Kappa, P&G, and many more.
