GXS Experiences Strong Customer Growth in B2B Managed Services in 2010

Sunbury, United Kingdom — January 26, 2011 — GXS™ today announced that 80 new large companies had signed up for its Business-to-Business (B2B) Managed Services in 2010, a 60 percent increase over 2009.  This growth is in addition to extension and expansion agreements with existing GXS Managed Services customers around the world. With this growth, volume in the company’s integration cloud platform, GXS Trading Grid®, passed ten billion transactions in 2010.

This is the third year in a row that the company has witnessed at least 50 percent customer growth in B2B Managed Services, which combines the world’s largest ecosystem for B2B integration, process orchestration and data quality services, with a global shared services team to monitor and manage a company’s multi-enterprise processes.

The new companies spanned multiple industries, including particularly strong growth in the high tech, consumer goods, retail, and general manufacturing industries.  50 percent of the 2010 customers are based outside the US.  Asian banks and tech manufacturers like LG Electronics contributed to 90 percent year-over-year growth in Asia-Pacific.  Tech manufacturers and top retailers like Virgin Stores contributed to 40 percent year-over-year growth in Europe.
