Sunbury, United Kingdom — November 25, 2010 — GXS™, the world’s leading provider of business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce solutions, has announced that the next European Customer Advisory Board (CAB) meeting will take place on Thursday 25th November at The Wolseley Centre in Leamington Spa.
The European CAB was formed in 2008 by Inovis and is chaired by Steve Coussins the former Chief Executive of GS1 UK. The CAB is representative of the broad spectrum of customers that GXS now serves and participating companies include Danone, Bernard Matthews, Moto and Polypipe. This is the second meeting of the CAB this year and the first since the GXS and Inovis merger combined two of the world’s largest B2B integration services providers, creating the world’s largest network of integrated business communities.
The CAB provides a forum for discussion between GXS and former Inovis customers in Europe and this meeting will provide a platform for GXS to share strategic plans including the expanded GXS roadmap for new products and services to better meet customers’ needs in 2011.
“Customer engagement has always been a primary focus, and following the recent merger, GXS welcomes this opportunity to meet with the CAB and share our future European business plans with them. This is also a great opportunity for the newly acquired GXS customers to discuss their views and experiences, allowing GXS a deep understanding of the services they require,” commented Steve Coussins, chair of the CAB. “We anticipate that this meeting will provide the CAB members with a more detailed understanding of the merged business as well as providing an excellent opportunity to discuss current industry trends.”
