GXS Hosts Business Application Software Developers’ Association Logistics Special Interest Meeting

Sunbury, United Kingdom — September 28, 2010 GXS™ a leading provider of business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce solutions, is hosting this year’s Business Application Software Developers’ Association (BASDA) Logistics Special Interest Group meeting, taking place on September 28th at the GXS offices in Sunbury on Thames, UK.

The Logistics Special Interest Group (SIG) is open to both members and non-members and the meeting will start with a discussion on how consumers are driving business trends with a focus on B2B integration, efficiencies and best practice.

Julian Tanner, CEO and founder of AxiCom, is guest speaker and will present on the future impact of Web 3.0 within B2B. After discussing the benefits and potential challenges of Web 3.0, Tanner will go on to explain how the technology can potentially benefit organisations by providing an intelligent and centralised data repository which improves the speed and efficiency at which businesses can make decisions.
