GXS Highlights Value of EDIFICE Best Practice At AsiaB2B Event in Shanghai

MEDIA ADVISORY: SHANGHAI AND LONDON — May 24, 2010 GXS™ a leading provider of business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce solutions, is presenting on behalf of the EDIFICE organisation at the AsiaB2B 2010 Plenary event, which opens today in Shanghai, China.

The two-day ‘The Value of B2B’ event is designed for CIOs, senior executives, B2B supply chain directors and managers of Asia based companies or multinational companies with Asia operations that would like to adopt the best practices of B2B in Asia. The objective is to provide a platform for Asia based companies across industries to share insights and experience and tap into the existing expertise of an organisation such as EDIFICE. Emphasising the close links between AsiaB2B and EDIFICE, the two organisations will this week sign a Memorandum of Understanding.

Denise Oakley, International Marketing Director at GXS and EDIFICE Vice-Chairman, will outline the role and contribution of EDIFICE to the development of B2B in Asia-Pacific. EDIFICE is the European B2B User Group for business partners with interests in computing, electronics and telecommunications, and Denise Oakley will provide a detailed insight into a range of cross-industry knowledge sharing and collabourative efforts that are already underway. She will highlight the partnership with AsiaB2B and identify areas in which EDIFICE is sharing insights and best practices
