GXS Expands European Partner Programme with the Addition of Mach Progrator in Denmark

Sunbury, United Kingdom — December 06, 2006 — GXS™, a leading provider of business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce solutions, today announced that Mach Progrator (previously known as DAN NET) has been appointed a GXS Trading Grid® reseller in Denmark. This appointment continues the expansion of the GXS Partner Programme, which now includes more than 100 partners worldwide. Mach Progrator will resell the GXS Trading Grid Messaging Service and will manage the deployment of GXS AS2 services and software to preferred suppliers of Metro, the German supermarket chain, in Denmark.

Together, GXS and Mach Progrator can offer the Danish market on-demand B2B e-commerce solutions to help customers address key business processes and improve trading partner collabouration on a global scale. The GXS Trading Grid Messaging Service enables customers to exchange business documents, such as forecasts, purchase orders, invoices and payments, in a real-time, secure and reliable fashion. It also will mediate the technology and process differences between trading partners, shielding the user from complexity and delivering value to 100 percent of the trading community.

“As the first Trading Grid reseller in Denmark, our strategic partnership with Mach Progrator is a significant milestone to boost the penetration of GXS’ services in the Nordic region, benefiting both GXS and Mach Progrator,” said Rory O’Neill, GXS’ director of alliances in EMEA. “Businesses in Denmark and other regions of Europe need affordable, viable solutions to increase their integration with global trading partners. Mach Progrator will be a major catalyst in ensuring that Danish businesses are on equal footing with their foreign counterparts in B2B e-commerce capabilities.”

Benefits of GXS Trading Grid Messaging Service include intelligence tools that enable a business to react immediately to unforeseen challenges, reduced personnel time spent tracking and troubleshooting orders, invoices and other B2B transactions and lower costs and higher revenues resulting from more efficient, automated B2B processes. The AS2 messaging standard that GXS provides within its Trading Grid Messaging Service offers a seamless and cost effective communications portal. GXS Trading Grid Messaging Service enables businesses to use their standard of choice and to have their information flow converted to AS2 (or other preferred format) to then be viewed by the receiver.

“This partnership will enable us to provide our customers with competitive e-commerce solutions for effective trading partner collabouration which meet today’s industry practices and standards,” said Flemming Christensen, senior product manager of Mach Progrator. “GXS Trading Grid Messaging Service is a perfect complement to Mach Progrator’s capabilities and will have significant benefits for Danish companies seeking to capitalise on emerging, but critical industry drivers and technologies. We are pleased to form this alliance with GXS and are eager to explore additional collabourative opportunities in the future.”

The GXS Trading Grid is a global B2B e-commerce and integration platform that supports the creation and adoption of on-demand supply chain management solutions for companies of any size.
