Bobby Patrick, senior vice president and chief marketing officer
Bobby Patrick is senior vice president and chief marketing officer (CMO) at GXS. In this role, Mr. Patrick oversees the strategic direction and positioning of GXS, including corporate strategy, global marketing, product development and corporate communications. Since Mr. Patrick joined GXS, the company has earned leadership distinction in Gartner’s coveted Magic Quadrant™ and Forrester Research’s Forrester Wave™. Mr. Patrick focuses on boosting GXS and the Trading Grid® integration services platform as the strategic foundation for global B2B integration, synchronisation and collabouration.
Mr. Patrick joined GXS after serving as CMO at Digex Incorporated acquired by MCI in 2003. Prior to that position, Mr. Patrick held a variety of senior management roles at Digex, including vice president of Strategy, Business Development and Product Management. Before joining Digex in 1996, Mr. Patrick was a senior consultant for Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) where he managed software development projects for telecommunications industry. Prior to Anderson, he worked for the FBI as a senior computer specialist, managing information systems and networks. He has a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from George Mason University, USA.
Leo Yeung, director, solution consulting, GXS Asia-Pacific
Leo Yeung is director of solution consulting for GXS in Asia-Pacific and is based in Hong Kong. Leo has been with GXS for 8 years in roles such as Business Consulting, Marketing and Product Management. Leo is a representative on the steering committee of RosettaNet China, the China Supply Chain Council, China Logistics Association and the Standard Advisory Group of the DTTN (a government endorsed e-logistics platform in Hong Kong).
Before joining GXS, Leo worked in the logistics area for many years serving major transportation companies including Norasia Lines and Orient Overseas Contain Lines. Leo has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from HK Baptist University (Hong Kong), a master’s degree in international management from Baylor University (US) and a master’s degree in IT management from Staffordshire University (UK).
Ryan Kraudel, global product and industry marketing, GXS
Ryan Kraudel is global product and industry marketing manager at GXS. Ryan leads marketing for GXS Managed Services, GXS’ B2B outsourcing offering, which saw nearly 30 percent customer growth in 2004 and 2005. Ryan also leads GXS’ strategic direction and positioning in the high tech industry and serves on the RosettaNet Champion Council. Prior to joining GXS, Ryan worked in a variety of marketing and strategy roles in the high tech sector, including webMethods, Check Point Software, BMC Software, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and several start-up companies. Ryan holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas and a master’s in business administration from the University of Maryland.
