GXS and DHL to Co-Host EDIFICE 105th Plenary May 28 to 29 in Madrid
GXS-Led Conference to Focus on eBusiness Crossing Borders
LONDON — May 27, 2008 — GXS, a leading provider of business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce solutions, will be co-hosting the 105th EDIFICE Plenary with customer, DHL, addressing the theme of “eBusiness Crossing Borders: The Challenge of Managing Standards, Vertical Industries and Geographies”. Steve Keifer, GXS’ vice president of industry and product marketing, will open the Plenary with a presentation on this theme. EDIFICE is the European B2B Forum for the computing, electronics and telecommunications industry which meets three times a year to discuss and advance B2B adoption strategies for member companies and their trading partners. Additional presentations from GXS at EDIFICE will be delivered by Bryan Larkin, Steve Keifer and Tom Varghese. They will focus on B2B Without Borders, The Convergence of the Physical and Financial Supply Chainand Best Practices in Enabling Small and Medium-Sized Businesses. Representatives from DHL will also address the challenges and solutions to Delivering Commerce Across Borders and RFID Global Standards. “The goal of this 105th Plenary is to share collective experience and best practices which help EDIFICE members to achieve their B2B goals in this challenging area, which is of increasing interest across Europe today,” commented Matthias Gehrken, EDIFICE chairman and development area manager for NOKIA Channel Logistics Development Excellence.
