At GXS, employees receive a salary and comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, eye care, an employee assistance program, personal accident and business travel Insurance and a pension scheme.

Medical

GXS offers all its employees private health Insurance.  The levels of cover are as follows;

  • Single
  • Married
  • Family
  • Single parent

The level of cover you are entitled to depends on your length of service and career band.  However you do also have the option to pay to upgrade.  This is a taxable benefit.  The amount the company pays for your medical insurance is treated as ‘benefit in kind’ for tax purposes.  The policy is designed to cover you for the diagnosis and/or necessary active treatment of a medical condition when your GP refers you to an appropriate specialist.

Holidays

The Company’s Holiday year run’s from 1st January to 31st December. You are entitled, in addition to Public and Bank holidays, to 25 working days annual leave during each calendar year.

If an employee joins the company during the course of the calendar year with no continuous service, their annual leave entitlement in their year of joining will be on a pro-rata basis according to calendar months worked.

Pension

GXS has a pension scheme to which all employees are entitled to become a member. Employer contributions are only payable into the Company Pension Scheme no personal scheme. Employee core contribution is 2%.
