Coca-Cola Amatil
Producing over 1,450 million litres of beverage products a year, Coca-Cola Amatil supplies around 114,000 customers from large supermarket chains to small corner stores. In order to provide better service, Coca-Cola Amatil turned to GXS for a fully outsourced e-commerce solution.
Daniels Group

J.O. Sims is a fresh produce importer, grower and food ingredient supplier. Its customers

Organic Farm Foods
Organic Farm Foods is the UK’s largest importer and distributor of organic fresh fruit, salad and vegetables, selling 9,000 tons of produce each year. Organic Farm Foods opted to digitise the exchange of supermarket sales orders, projections,
invoices and depot entry codes using Desktop EDI™, a PC-based solution from GXS. Desktop EDI enables small and medium businesses to trade electronically by offering EDI-translation and business document management capabilities.
PHOENIX—The German Pharmaceutical Industry
The German pharmaceutical industry selected GXS to provide the PHOENIX Clearing Service via its Trading Grid®. The PHOENIX service essentially digitises the pharmaceutical industry’s supply chain, translating the myriad in-house data formats used by the many companies within the pharmaceutical community and transmitting trading data using GXS’ Trading Grid Messaging Services.

Tandy Brands Accessories, Inc. makes and markets fashion accessories for men, women and children. But when Wal-Mart mandated that it use the Internet and AS2 standard to do business, it quickly needed new technology. WD-40 is a global consumer products company whose brands are usually to be found lurking under sinks, hiding in garages and nestling inside toolboxes. Deluxe Media Services
Deluxe Media Services supplies big names in entertainment such as Fox, Universal and Warner Brothers, with solutions for the manufacturing and distribution of packaged media. Its use of multiple EDI providers and older VAN technology made supply chain communication time-consuming and difficult to manage. Deluxe consolidated all of its EDI traffic to the state of-the-art Inovisworks™. This enabled Deluxe to dramatically improve supply chain productivity and reduce costs across their European trading community.
Exelon Corporation
Exelon Corporation is a major electricity generator and operates the largest fleet of nuclear plants in the United States. Partnering with Exelon GXS developed a Web Portal solution that allows Exelon’s suppliers to send invoice data and supporting documents electronically. Paper and manual processing of supply chain transactions are drastically reduced or eliminated and data quality is significantly improved.
Duradiamond
Established over 15 years ago, Duradiamond was initially set up by John Clark Senior and John Clark Junior to service the engineering sector with diamond tools. Duradiamond uses GXS’ TradeWebSM, which allows the company to exchange documents using the Internet and EDI.

Part of the Metsäliitto Group comprising approximately 130,000 private Finnish land owners, Finnforest is a leading supplier of eco-efficient wood based products, systems and solutions. InFocus
InFocus Corporation is a leading provider of digital projection technology and services. They selected GXS Managed Services to provide a comprehensive outsourced e-commerce solution—with a single touch point between InFocus’s customers and suppliers.
Milwaukee Electric Tool

Mission Rubber

Rohm and Haas
Rohm and Haas Company is a specialty materials company in the US owned by DOW, whose reported revenues are $57.5B. They wanted to eliminate the unnecessarily high operational costs and supplier management challenges within manual invoice processing. Their GXS solution provides their trading partners with a web-based, self-service portal for creating and managing electronic invoices.
Thomson Consumer Electronics
Thomson Consumer Electronics is the Americas’ subsidiary of Thomson Multimedia, the world’s fourth largest consumer electronics company, with 56,000 employees at 38 facilities worldwide and annual sales of more than £5 billion. Thomson is outsourcing its electronic data interchange (EDI) and an extranet site to GXS in an effort expected to save the electronics giant £3 million during the next four years.
Vermont Information Processing, Inc.
Vermont Information Processing, Inc. (VIP) provides business enhancing software applications to approximately 400 beverage distributors. These applications manage distributor inventory, orders, sales reports and financials. To interact electronically with customers, VIP implemented a full suite of integrated solutions from GXS. Best Buy Co., Inc. is North America’s leading specialty retailer of consumer electronics, personal computers, entertainment software and appliances. They chose GXS Product Data Quality to increase customer satisfaction and reduce data errors along their supply chain.
Big Lots
Big Lots’ business is dependent on flexible inventory and efficient access to vendor overruns and closeouts. They turned to Partner Performance Management from GXS to manage all aspects of the vendor relationship including transaction flow, shipping notices and compliance. DSGi
DSG international plc (DSGi), one of Europe’s leading electronic retailers, needed to streamline communications with hundreds of suppliers in order to keep up with customer demand. JCPenney

Tesco
Tesco, the U.K.’s largest retailer and sixth largest retailer worldwide, sends and receives more than 1,000,000 documents per month, 42,000 of which were processed on paper. They wanted to reduce their paper-based documents even further, and selected GXS Trading Grid®’s automation and community enablement services to do so.
WHSmith
WHSmith is one of the UK’s largest retailers who has been a long-term user of a number of EDI translation and transmission solutions from GXS to deliver their e-business strategy. More recently, WHSmith also decided to consolidate their e-commerce activities using GXS Managed Services.

Royal Mail
