Software AG and GXS announced a broad strategic partnership in November 2004 to jointly resell, develop and market end-to-end business integration solutions. The agreement will allow businesses to seamlessly collaborate with all of their vendors and partners, regardless of size or geography, improving operating efficiencies and customer service. Central to the strategic partnership will be the combination of webMethods, a leading suite of business integration software, with the GXS Trading Grid. As a result of this alliance, webMethods software will be used to power the GXS Trading Grid, which serves over tens of thousands of customers worldwide. In addition, GXS will leverage webMethods Smart Services™ to rapidly deploy new intelligence and application services to Trading Grid customers, including services such as business activity monitoring and collaborative forecasting.

Microsoft and GXS announced a strategic alliance in May 2006 to market innovative solutions to speed and simplify integration between trading partners worldwide. The alliance focuses on enabling B2B integration initiatives across organizations’ global supply chains, through a combination of software and services that includes Microsoft® BizTalk® Server 2006, SQL Server™ 2005, the 2007 Microsoft Office system and GXS’s Trading Grid. Through the relationship, the companies will jointly market their leading B2B solutions to help ensure that organisations of all sizes, in any geography, can build real-time, collaborative B2B networks that connect their trading partners across supply chains.

Verizon Business, a unit of Verizon Communications (NYSE: VZ), is a leading provider of advanced communications and information technology (IT) solutions to large business and government customers worldwide. GXS uses Verizon network services to power the GXS Trading Grid. In addition, Verizon is a value-added reseller of GXS Managed Services and Invoice Delivery Service.
